Andrew Doughman works with the Energy Media team to affect transformative change across the U.S. energy landscape. With an eye toward strategies that will grow a strong clean energy future, Andrew collaborates with teams across the U.S. West to develop plans and actions that allow states to attain better health outcomes for their residents, develop a cleaner energy portfolio, and provide more economic opportunities for their residents. He draws on his background as a former journalist and communications professional to tell the human stories of a pivotal time in the country’s transition to a clean energy economy.

HIGHLIGHTS & BACKGROUND

A native of Washington state, Andrew is immensely grateful for the opportunities he has had to live and work across the United States and abroad in South Korea and Kenya. He is equally thankful to have worked with some great human beings who have taught him to be a better writer and strategist. His experience as a state legislative reporter and as a communications consultant attempting to affect policy change in the transportation, energy, and education arenas have given him a wealth of learning experiences upon which he draws daily. Andrew enjoys exploring the great outdoors, reading history books, and sharing stories with the many people he meets at his favorite Las Vegas haunts.
